"The City of Friendly People" invites you to the annual Hogansville Hummingbird Festival, held the third weekend of October in historic downtown Hogansville, GA. For more than 20 years, this beloved festival has been a highlight of the community, offering two days of old-fashioned family fun.

The Hummingbird Festival is also a fundraiser for the Hogansville Charitable Trust, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to the renovation, preservation, and improvement of historic and municipal properties in and around Hogansville.
Over the years, the festival has raised more than $325,000, which has been leveraged with federal, state, and other grants to create over $3 million in city improvements, including:

Renovation of the historic Royal Theater (now City Hall)

Downtown StreetScapes (three phases)

Construction of the Tower Trail, connecting Hogansville Elementary School, the historic Water Tower, Oak Street, and the outdoor classroom

Preservation of greenspace with Askew Park in the center of downtown

Donation of the former PNC Bank building for a new City Hall
