    Mission
    The mission of Hogansville’s Downtown Development Authority (DDA) is to revitalize downtown through sustainable economic growth, preservation, and beautification.

    The DDA encourages quality development and economic prosperity while maintaining Hogansville’s small-town character. We are committed to preserving historic and natural resources while promoting, revitalizing, and beautifying downtown Hogansville.

    Location & Access
    Located approximately 45 minutes south of Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport—one of the busiest airports in the world—Hogansville sits just off Interstate 85, halfway between Atlanta and Columbus. This prime location brings a steady stream of visitors to downtown and supports Hogansville’s continued growth as an economic, professional, and cultural center for the Central West Georgia region.

    DDA Events
    A dedicated group of volunteer merchants and citizens organizes a variety of annual and seasonal events to support downtown improvement projects, promote local businesses, and bring the community together. These events include:

    • Smokin’ Sounds BBQ Festival – a signature downtown event featuring food, music, and family-friendly activities

    • Trunk or Treat – a safe and fun Halloween tradition for families

    • Holiday Winter Market – downtown comes alive with holiday lights, shopping, and seasonal cheer

    • Additional quarterly events throughout the year highlighting local vendors, entertainment, and community engagement
