Royal Theater Box Office Manager

ROYAL THEATER

BOX OFFICE MANAGER (PART-TIME)

 

As the Box Office Manager, you will oversee daily operations and activities of The Public Theater Box Offices to optimize ticket sales for events and performances while delivering a customer service experience focused on kindness and accessibility for all. The Box Office Manager executes various administrative duties related to ticket sales and fulfillment, membership and partner acquisition and renewal, special events, accounting, reporting, list generation, and audience analysis.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintains knowledge of CRM software to maintain customer accounts, process sales and exchanges, hold and open seat inventories within 24 hours of scheduled performances, reserve seats, and enable price types and performances as needed. 

• Responsible for the planning, execution, and maintenance of all ticketed events within 24 hours of a scheduled performance. This includes, but is not limited to, the computer programming of events, seat maps, prices, dates, and seating holds; and the processing, printing, and distribution of all tickets including those sold through third party sources. 

• Develops, maintains, and documents box office policies and procedures. 

• Participates in planning and coordination of annual membership and partner campaigns. 

• Actively contributes to outbound sales initiatives for group sales. 

• Maintain equipment and supplies to keep a well-stocked, clean, and organized box office.

• Acts as the Volunteer Coordinator (see below):
   Role of the Volunteer Coordinator:
  • Along with the Managing Director, develop, promote, and maintain a wide range of volunteer opportunities. Regularly assess needs for volunteer assistance and recruitment 
  •       Recruit new volunteers and cultivate relationships with current volunteers 
  •       Maintain Volunteer Service Descriptions for each volunteer assignment
  • Ensure volunteers are staffed to support the various areas of operations.
  • Communicate regularly with volunteers about opportunities, scheduling, follow-up and other pertinent information.
  • Conduct and/or arrange for volunteer orientation and training
  • Manage volunteer policies, procedures, and standards of volunteer service
  • Organize and participate in volunteer recognition programs and special events
  • Evaluate all aspects of volunteer programs to ensure effectiveness and to implement changes as appropriate
  • Maintain accurate records and provide timely statistical and activity reports on volunteer participation
  • Maintain volunteer module on the CRM to ensure its accuracy

MARKETING

Assist with the development, implementation, and management of all Royal Theater Marketing, Advertising, and Promotional activities.

 

OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

Must be 18 years of age or older

Computer literate

Customer Service Experience

Theater Box Office experience preferred, but not required.

The Hogansville Police Department has an immediate opening for Night Shift Police Patrol Officers:

We are looking for a dynamic police officer to be responsible for the enforcement of federal, state, and local laws and the protection of life and property. Responsibilities include patrolling assigned zones, responding to calls, serving criminal court papers, providing first aid and CPR, provide traffic control, testify in judicial proceedings, complete all required reports and forms and perform other related duties as assigned.

To be successful as a police officer you should be able to perform a broad range of responsibilities and establish a relationship of trust among the members of your department and community.

 Duties include:

  •     Enforcing laws
  •     Ensuring the safety and security of the public by responding to emergencies, providing assistance to victims, and reducing or preventing involvement in crime
  •     Building relationships with the community while helping to contribute to the health and safety of vulnerable populations through community policing.
  •     Creating community awareness by using crime prevention methods or intervention initiatives
  •     Conducting investigations by interviewing suspects, witnesses, and collecting evidence at crime scenes
  •     Participating in and testifying at court hearings when required
  •     Processing incident reports with accurate detail and factual information.
  •     Working special details as needed.

Knowledge Required FOR THIS Position:

  • Knowledge of relevant federal and state laws, criminal and traffic codes, search and seizure laws, judicial procedures, city ordinances, and department policies and procedures.
  • Knowledge of criminal and traffic investigation techniques and procedures
  • Knowledge of the geography and streets of the city.
  • Skill in CPR techniques, operating police vehicles, firearms, computers, and emergency equipment.\Officers must be capable of working night shift, weekends, and holidays.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must be a P.O.S.T. certified peace officer in the State of Georgia, and in good standing.
  • Sufficient experience to understand the basic principles relevant to the major duties of the position usually associated with the completion a Georgia P.O.S.T. approved police academy or having a similar position for one to two years.
  • Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license
  •  Knowledge and level of competency commonly associated with the completion of training in the field of work, in addition to basic skills associated with a high school education.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $44,491.20 per year for entry level patrol officer

BACKGROUND INVESTIGATION: A rigid and thorough personal, work experience, and qualification background investigation is required, which includes: medical exam, drug screening test, psychological tests (written and clinical), polygraph examination, verification of all credentials and qualifications (personal references, previous employment, POST status, education, training, etc.), and interviews.
